Bed Frame / September 4, 2017 / Calandre
A solid wood bed-frame is considered by many to be stronger than a metal frame which is prone to rusting and warping. If maintained properly solid wood bed frames can last for many years. Dust periodically and wipe down with soapy water once a year. If your solid wood bed frame is painted or varnished then repaint or re-varnish when it wears out and your solid wood bed-frame will even be able to last for more than a generation.
Matching a frame to its room and environment is also essential to consider. Designs can include engravings in the headboard and footboard as well as its color. More detailed headboards however are often found on king and queen size bed frames. This is because twin beds are usually more popular as beds for kids where king and queen size bed frames are often part of the master bedroom.
With loft beds you can design the kids room the way you like because it gives you more space to put your childrens stuffs. But if your kids grew older and became teens and still want loft beds for them you must choose modern frames that are sturdier because they are much heavier.
