Bed Frame / September 3, 2017 / Voletta
The terms modern and contemporary when used to describe furniture is often interchangeable so much so that the common man gets confused when people refer to one or the other. While modern could refer to a school of design contemporary could refer to a time period - e.g. furniture pieces from the 1980s could be referred to as "contemporary" 1980s furniture. However for practical purposes a modern frame of bed and contemporary bed-frame could both have the similar clean simple style and uncluttered design.
Many if not most companies offer contemporary frames that can give you the function and style you are looking for. They are offered in factory direct prices which mean a whole lot cheaper and affordable price. Of course prices come with the quality. The frames of better quality may demand higher prices but guaranteed quality though.
Even though the dimensions of the frames are standard there are many different sizes and shapes. For a childs bed a minimal frame is often recommended because there is less of it to be injured on. There are also non-standard sizes to take into account when buying your twin bed frames. Lots of people may think they have a twin size bed when really it is a twin extra long or a three quarter size.
