Bedding sets in general are made up of several things- pillow cases a comfortable mattress and fine linen not forgetting a warm comforter to top it all up. In general every bedding set consists of all these but you will find that there are those who prefer to purchase them individually in an effort to cut costs. This however varies with the type of season. As with any other furniture there are quite a few general things that you should consider when purchasing bedding sets.
When purchasing bed in a bag sets for a queen bed you should look for the following: One queen fitted sheet One queen flat sheet Two pillow cases One queen comforter Two or four pillow shams (some sets have 2 and some have 4) Duvet cover (this is also optional; some sets have them some do not) Queen bed skirt (also optional).
Choosing bedding sets to match seasons has become a popular theme as it gives you the opportunity to change the style of the room several times a year and still keep that luxurious look. In the summer months you might want to use light colored bedding as well as light weight duvets or comforters. The darker color heavier duvets covers and comforters do not blend well in summer and are better used during the winter months only. When spring comes it gives you an opportunity to remove the thick comforters and duvets throw open the windows and make the room as light and airy as possible. As fall approaches you can change your bedding set to a medium color that captures the mood of the season.
