The first thing that you`re going to want to think of is how big of a space you have available to store the chest of drawers? There are so many different sizes available there is always going to be something that will accommodate you. The next thing you should think about is what color would look best in your home? Of course oak is a beautiful color but if the rest of your home is done in Cherrywood that is not going to look right. It is not going to be easy for you to be able to match an existing piece of furniture because there are so many different shades of wood. If you cannot find something that is going to look absolutely beautiful don`t be afraid to keep shopping.
For a real conversation piece you may opt for an Asian-inspired three-drawer chest that`ll look great in a home with an oriental design.
